After working for a bit in her face I wasn't happy at all with her expression (as you see in the sketch it was more neutral). I scrapped it, did a quick round of selfies for reference and BAM, way better!!

Fun thing about this one is that the sketch was submitted for Granny Frogguts, because I liked the idea of a sea hag dressed in such fancy clothes. That didn't worked out, but Marius Bota (AD) allowed me to make this character out of it. Really grateful for that!

I really felt like I was enjoying the act of painting, the process, while doing this one. Impostor syndrome has been hitting hard for a while, and that break meant a lot. Maybe I should start painting more cute animals...
