#FridayFeeling is simply the desire to live in a world of talking animals like the books that populated my childhood & imagination.
One of my favorite animated films is Ernest & Celestine (2012) based on a series of children's books of the same name. It's a sweet fable that tells of the unlikely friendship between a bear and a mouse.
Amelia Jane Murray (Lady Oswald) was a Victorian fairy artist. She was born in Port-e-Chee, which means means `Fairy Music' in Gaelic. Though she died in 1896, her fairies were not published until 1985, in a book called A Regency Lady’s Fairy Bower.
@soopdragoon They really and truly are. I am so glad that you mentioned this one.
It's Monday, just leave me in peace with my books and my dragon.
I don't know whether to be charmed or afraid for this child's life?
Can I just say how charmed I am by Dennis Nolan's Hunters of the Great Forest? It is a wordless delight.
