Feeling very low today. Having grown up in a fractured family, I struggle with the trauma of my childhood. It's even harder when one has to come to a place where one can no longer allow a parent to be in one's life anymore. Kind thoughts & prayers deeply appreciated.
Sure Christmas is over, but that doesn't mean I can't celebrate the season in a lively jig with a Robin

No matter how old I am, whenever I see an illustration like this, I long to be a small woodland creature living in a hollowed out tree, having one of my forest friends over for hot apple cider or elderberry wine.
