One thing I must create for my children's storybook is a map. I think all books should require maps in them. From the time I was a child until today, I love poring over maps & they always made an imaginary place all that much more real if there was a map of it.
Today's storybook is A Visit to William Blake's Inn by Nancy Willard & illustrated by Alice & Martin Provensen. Inspired by Blake's poetry, this tells the story of William Blake's Inn, which is populated with an array of odd creatures & animals.

“Alice: How long is forever?
White Rabbit: Sometimes, just one second.”
― Lewis Carroll, who was born #OTD in 1832. Alice in Wonderland remains one of my most beloved books. It was the first book I saved up my own money to purchase a copy of. I still have it.
