"the moon, the lunatic, and the divine" from a 2918 show. I used poppies and a lotus flower because I wanted to talk about the relationship between madness or addiction and transcendence, and how I feel like the two are often connected in ways that we may not fully understand.

I am so excited to share that I have been working with my printer to create a very special limited edition of prints of this piece just in time for the holidays. Folks, they are beautiful. Printed on somerset velvet paper, they look like original watercolors. They bring joy!

We have a big week ahead of us. Let's take all of those nerves and fears that we have and honor the shit out of them, because they are righteously valid right now. Let's also continue to be courageous in our hearts. We can be nervous and anxious and still do good. ⁠

What a damn week. I am grateful to be heading into the weekend, and grateful still for the kind people in my life. Looking forward to spending time in the autumn sunshine and spooky stories at night. ⁠
