Dino Fact:

Rugops (Wrinkle Face) is an Abelisaurid from Late Cretaceous Africa! It was named this after the grooves left on its skull by large blood vessels. Its skull also had 2 rows of 7 holes, which might've been there for a crest or horns to attach to.

Dino Fact:

Aucasaurus (Auca Lizard) is an Abelisaurid from Late Cretaceous Argentina! The only skeleton found had a badly damaged skull, which was likely how it died. It's believed either it was bitten by another Aucasaurus or a Saltasaurus fell on it.
