The harness is inspired by the so-called gothic style of the very late 15th c., as perfected by Lorenz Helmschmid who was the emperor's master armourer in Augsburg.
KHM A62 (which has recently been updated by the museum) is one of the most flamboyant examples of his production.

Memories suddenly came back for some reason.
Week was busy but I had a bit of time to me... so I made an actual, real watercolour, for the first time.
