I will say though, trying to paint brushed gold was actually a lot of fun. Maybe I should invest in some texture brushes to really sell that feeling.

(It's still not good though - it feels out of place, like a 3d model in a 2d drawing. Which it's not.)

Decided to go back and compare my first Ina piece to my latest. They're not the same pose or anything, but I do think I improved since then. I'm not afraid of using deeper colors to shade anymore.
