More folds!
I used this backdrop to echo the folds of the clothing in this recent portrait commission, and to unify the general colour palette of the painting, especially the floor and background.
Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best.
I love painting fabric!

@mykindleandtea There’s nothing on show at the mo, but I have a drawing in the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize which opens on the 28th of September. It’s only one work and not the easiest place to get to. I’ll be posting details in September.
