@dailycasscain After mulling it over for a week, I also think that all things considered it was a fairly good depiction of Cass, even though she wasn't the focus per se. Maybe that'll change in later episodes. Even the vocal cord thing seems like a lead-in to the Dad Comparison from her book.
@dailycasscain @TalkinLadyShiva Yeah, preboot Cass explictly says her dad is white (with her being unsure of her ethnicity on her mum's side sparking the final arc of her solo book), in the reboot he's apparently from Shanghai.
@ReviveScream @deadletterpoets He was an African American vigilante from the Batman books in the mid-2000s, he had a lot of promise but was ultimately unceremoniously murdered by Black Mask in the infamous War Games storyline.
