@OriginalFunko While I'd still pick Blue's Clues, here's some more suggestions that fit the same early kids show theme.

He can also make friends with nearly any Pokémon he comes across, with the vast majority of his captures being the Pokémon's choice to follow him (assuming you count his 30 tarous as 1). Considering the capture styler is emits the user's friendly intent he'd do great. (4/6)

He's constantly sidetracking his adventure so that he can help any people or Pokémon he comes across. Also his constant run ins with legendaries has basically meant he's saved the world multiple times. Plus I'm pretty sure he's even helped Arceus (God) as well. (3/6)
