@JoshTheMedic @God_Complex_013 There were multiple children at one point in development. This was early enough that idk if the concept of a child BOW was even implemented yet.
Drain Deimos are part human, part flea.
They were created when a flea fed on the corpse of a Zombie, and the virus "piggybacked" human DNA into the flea through recombination.

The U in U-3 ("It", #ResidentEvil4) and U-8 (#ResidentEvil5) stands for Ultimate
These creatures were made by fusing different animals together. The number represents how many animals were used, while the U likely represents the fact they take only the best traits of the animals
Reapers were created when trace amounts of the Uroboros Virus infected cockroaches.
Roach vitality is legendary, with it often cited that they would likely survive a nuclear apocalypse. This vitality allowed them to survive infection with the hyper-lethal Uroboros.

Neo-Umbrella J'avo had two additional, artificial lungs grafted onto their faces and protected by a cage.
These lungs helped to cool the J'avo bodies, to prevent them from overheating as quickly as other J'avo types. This gives them more health in gameplay.

Most B.O.W.s created by the C-Virus have overheating issues. This is due to the influence of the base virus used in the creation of C - t-Veronica
J'avo incinerate when transforming into a Chrysalid, Zombies melt, Napads emit steam, and Strelac's have boiling blood

In addition to causing insect mutations, t-Veronica also carries plant genes.
This makes the virus highly compatible with plant life, and causes hosts to develop green skin.

There is a discrepancy in how adult Plaga are supposed to look in #ResidentEvil 4
Their fossils, art and the cult logo depict them with 4 legs, a front-facing mouth, and a sharp tail. But in gameplay they have more legs, an underside mouth, and several tendrils instead of a tail
It has been theorized that the thinner, clawless version of Lickers from Outbreak and TUC is actually a "young" version of the RE2 Licker.
This is supported by the larger version of Lickers existing in the game files, suggesting that both types were to appear.

Umbrella would sometimes give alternative nicknames to their B.O.W.s.
For example, Nemesis-T Type was nicknamed Pursuer.
Plague Crawler was D.A.L.I. (DNA Arranged, Lack of Intelligence).
Plant 43 was Ivy.
Hunter Gamma was Frogger.
