@KeaneZachary Yeah, I can see what you mean. Bernie Wrightson drew wolfmen similarly, with rather human faces (below is one I painted over as an exercise), as well as Susan Seddon Boulet.
So I'm working on a commissioned cover with bigfoot, which the author is very insistent is a handsome #bigfoot that women would be attracted to . . . so how do I do this exactly? My first thought was this painting by Boris Vallejo where he just gives bigfoot his own face -
@JusttheZooofUs Wayne Barlowe's "Expedition" aliens - he made a design choice that they wouldn't have eyes or jaws, and the brains are in the torso, some have fore-and-aft legs, or fly using jet propulsion, or biolights. It's incredibly detailed and well thought out.
Some big tiddy anime avatar dude was going absolutely batshit bonkers on one of my tweets yesterday and apparently thinks I'm a furry (that's a werewolf in my avatar, thank you very much). I don't even draw furry style, but tried it today and this is what it looks like if I do.
#WerewolfWednesday - werewolf muscular anatomy. Based on humans, gorillas and bears with some baboon thrown in. Still sketchy at this point, this will part of the spec evo book.
This has been sitting around half-finished for about a year, so I spent about 40 minutes getting it into shape for #WerewolfWednesday - feels like forever since I've painted.
Happy #Julycanthropy! Check out the changing look of the Dungeons & Dragons #werewolf from various Monstrous Manuals over the years, starting in 1977!
