So guy I just realized that I'm CLOSE to the editors at Marvel age and I want to talk about something that got me thinking, the superheroes of there youth was about Black and white morality and boring. This was from a women of Marvel thing this was what I GREW up with.

Not right away before that there was this mini that killed off his love interest and was just dark. This story and the Alan Story was retconned to hell because it basically gave him no where to go. No drama, nothing to fight for.

He tried to do this with Adam Strange when he guest started and and I'm going to have to explain Adam Strange as a character.

Whatever the case I feel like Dazzler does have potential even now, I think her set up with the right creator could work. But right now she is a bit of joke with a cult fandom that might be more ironic, honestly most of her fans seem like that.

Anyway the truth is that comics that focus on politics depending don't stick around a lot even now. Current politics become weird historical documents. Look at this stuff from the BUSH era. The truth is this becomes cringe very easily no matter what.

One of the reasons I bring this up is because I hate when people use this example, because well when Watchmen came out Nixon was out of office for 13 years it was not even a current reference, it's historical at that point and it what keeps Watchmen timeless to an extent.
