Ned doesn't have major media appearances, mostly he's just a name from the comics though Spec was the first thing to make his Asian as a thing. But let's get to the MCU version and talk about him since he's an...odd thing.

Well in the 90's they decided to Have Roger Stern reveal who he planned and made a mini to make it canon, so Ned was just the poor sap who got caught in Roderick's scheme....and well let's get to now.

During the 80's a NEW Spider-man rogue would be introduced, this rogue would become a major selling point of the Spider-man books bringing back a mystery element and who was THIS MYSTERIOUS GOBLIN....Not Ned.

That said Betty is more the thing that was brought back, because as Spider-man's first love interest she still really cares for Peter and with Gwen gone she's wants to make Sure Mj is on the up and up, and well poor Ned no one cares about him.
