A couple of dragons for #StGeorgesDay. A 2 legged dragon, Wyvern, on a medieval tile uncovered at The Commandery on a community dig, & another as part of the decoration of an Edward VI document, linked to the royal coat of arms.

In 1917 Vesta Tilley, Music Hall star, gave a Grafonola (record player) & records of her singing, as a Christmas present to a Military Hospital in Manchester. This is their thankyou letter to her, which she put in a scrapbook
