Fire Emblem Fact #17!
Sacred Stones had a version of the game leaked, dated May 31st, 2004. It is very early in development, and contains many leftovers from FE 7. Many characters were completely redesigned, and had their designs transfer to other characters. (explanation below)

Fire Emblem Fact #16!
Fire Emblem 7 had a leaked version of the game called the "0219 Prototype". Among many changes, all of the CG illustrations are in an early, unfinished state.

Fire Emblem Fact #11!
In Fire Emblem 7, many units that canonically have a child appear in Binding Blade will not actually die when their HP hits 0. Instead, they will "permanently retreat", and will no longer be usable by the player.

Fire Emblem Fact #6!
In Awakening's Japanese dub, the voice actor for both Fredrick and Priam is Daisuke Ono. He is well known for his other roles in anime, including Jotoro Kujo from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Erwin Smith from Attack on Titan.

Many of the characters in Awakening share a birthday with the releases of Fire Emblem games. For example: Lucina's birthday (April 20) is the release date of Fire Emblem 1, and Sully's birthday (December 5th) is the release of FE 11.
