Interesting idea. I plan to do something similar with My "Sonic Superheroes" Fan Comics. Heck, one of the story arcs I plan to write for my fan comics is a tribute to Grant Morrison's run on Animal Man (One of his earliest known DC Comics Works).

No! Plastic Man came before Mr. Fantastic. Plastic Man made his debut in "Police Comics in 1941. Mr. Fantastic made his debut in "The Fantastic Four in 1961.
