@Gamemaster24681 Old Mura was designed to play into that one trope of "this transformed character looks attractive when human". But then I realized it didn't fit him. So now he's just a weird ass in general
For Kazu, I mainly just tightened her palette
And the twins WERE fan characters lol
@MadeInHonoluloo Oh no, it was.
For a VERY short time, Nate and Laura existed as "Earthbound fan characters". Not like, to interact with the actual cast, but just to be other psychic kids on their own adventure in that world.
Then within months, I made them their own things.
Now we're here.
While the twins, Laura first, then Nate, were made as MAIN characters of mine who existed to carry a story. Wound up with their own shortly after, which I dropped a couple years ago in favor of embracing a rework of IaT.
But the twins still pushed into lead roles.
Kazu and Mura were the protags of their OG plot, Isle-a-Toll.
They were, by all means, made with intent to carry a story on their own. And were also made LATER than their kids (2009/2010 vs 2008) so they came with a bit more...
...definition to their characters???
[Realizing the DeSa family is easy to keep in the spotlight because it's composed of four characters that were all MADE to be the main characters of their original stories]
OOOOOH
THAT MAKES SENSE ACTUALLY.
As a hold over until I can finish Lily's ACTUAL birthday gift, here is a small collection of old gift art that is still very cute and nice
Happy BIRTHDAY LILY
@Demon_Games_ @UnknownArtistML Luckily THAT usually just causes a sort of
Annoyed reaction
