@GiffiToonCo I don't usually jump on these but like
I know the "I wanna draw more" vibe too well
So uh
Here, the pick is yours
As a kid, Nate absolutely went through a phase where he thought the smallest thing would cause his parents to divorce, thanks to things he saw on TV
Laura did not help matters.
@Gamemaster24681 Using this as an example
From behind he can appear almost totally accurate
The problem is that he can't "correct" the aspects of him that are subconsciously altered in his own appearance (sharp eyes/teeth, sharp everything)
He also can't change his voice or replicate powers
@Exceptionalboi I mean it can work as like, a gag. Usually with family members and/or identical twins/triplets/etc. Or if it's a key point to the story (aka Prince and the Pauper). Or even theming.
But when characters are totally separate and look almost the same for no reason it's just
Eh.
So yeah. Coming up on the twins' /15th/ year of existing, I can celebrate something important.
That after over a decade of being forced to live without the right of a happy childhood, they can finally enjoy just
Vibing
And being happy.
And that makes /me/ happy.
Once I decided just a couple years ago to give the twins ACTUAL parents in the form of Kazu and Mura, who were already characters who mattered as support in their lives when they were in a dysfunctional home life, suddenly it happened.
I was able to move them away from it all.
But I still enjoyed just goofing around with them outside of their story (ancient pics related)
To the point where I tried REALLY hard to make a new story for them. And I failed a lot. They were still just WAY too tied to a core that was just... unpleasant.
