@RhithIce @monsterhunter I mean Flaming Espinas just seems to be the mainline version of the Espinas Subspecies.
Its just that it and the Rare species dont have names like Azure Rathalos,Fulgar Anjanath or Viper Tobi Kadachi so I guess they just looked at its main gimic and just called it that.

@DanPalaeon1 However not everyone has to do paleoart realistically if your doing something like Egerkrans or Natalia since its more obviously cartoony you have more freedome to play around with the colours,pattern and look of the animals while also keeping the basic anatomy of the animals

@Goji_Saurus @KingRexy328 @PermianSailback @JoschuaKnuppe Its the back and tail spikes. They are basically a realistic interpertaion of Anguirus. If it had a head crown of spikes and a nose horn youd say its more similar. Only thing its missing is the fangs and narrower head.

I never thought Id find a feathered Dimetrodon so asthetic but it looks like a mythology creature
This one is basically accurate Velociraptor
This ones straight up a forest spirit
Also not a hybrid but best pterosaur in the franchise
