Honestly this was kinda my way of writing my ideal Sonic story, where there's plenty of silly moments and characters but it takes itself just seriously enough. It's not quite as light and fluffy as current Classic Sonic content (as great as that is), though it's still fun.

Gonna update this thread with art and details about this fic just in case folks might be interested. Basically I decided it would be fun to do a novelisation of the first Sonic game, taking inspiration from media like Sonic the Comic, Stay Sonic and the Martin Adams novels.

A very quick Firga because I can never draw enough of this cavegirl.

Gave @angelblessart's Super Amy design a quick go 'cause it's very cool.

Doodled this for height comparisons between Firga, Ashtree and the dude who was isekai'd into the Cave World, Fletcher. Firga is a small.

Anyway here's the other Super Sonic.

Since the dude people just call "Fleetway" is popular again now, I thought it was a good excuse to doodle him.
