it's a little pointless to reflect on 2019. You've seen the best parts of it, and all fairly recently, in the secret santas and gift arts I posted a few days ago!
nevertheless, here's a couple things you might have missed.
productivity dipped in 2018, at least publicly. I joined up with a couple of discord servers during the mass exodus from tumblr. I kept working, but didn't have as much of a platform as the previous years. so I kept things to myself for the most part.
in 2017 I went a little quiet on Voyagers for a while, and had a lot of things to work out in the background. In the meantime, I got busy with D&D commissions. started to carve out a little niche for myself. also played Persona 5 and watched Samurai Jack!
in 2016 I accumulated a milestone 1,000 followers on the terrible dead platform of tumblr. Voyagers was at its most present at this point, and got some nice fan art and engagement. a shame, as it totally wasn't ready for the public in retrospect. I also watched Dragon Half.
started to hit a wall in 2015. we made a devblog for Voyagers, but had nothing substantial to put on it! It slowly dawned on me that it would take more than just drawing concept art to get a videogame made...
also did some fan arts, but I was not terribly productive in general.
the momentum of 2013 continued into 2014. I finally got over the PLAGIARISM hump and together we made an ORIGINAL CONCEPT for what would ultimately become Voyagers. In this year I also took an art class at a college, dropped my webcomic, and did some vinesauce fan art.
2013 was a weird gap year between graduation and gainful employment. art output was minimal. I began to realize I was never going to make Effigies "happen", and I wanted something, anything that would garner more notes and attention than it had. also played Dark Souls and Civ IV.
2012 was a BIG year. I learned to use a wacom tablet and returned to /co/ with a vengeance, and all the while continued my webcomic, started commissions, did 22 days of a monster girl challenge, did streams, took a course on using Blender...
