Looking Back(VIII). Innovative storytelling is intrinsical to Batwoman books and I don't use to run from a good challenge…
Looking Back (VII). Batwoman#15 (2018), I'd wish this continue being just fiction... unfortunately is not. Pretty much scarier now than then.
Looking Back (VI), Midnighter & Apollo(III) Some of my favorites pages, not seen before in previews.
Here he wanted a dirty painful fight. He sent me ref fighting scenes from Creed asking for that vibe. Inmediatly the way Corben narrates violence came to my mind… close shots, cropped frames, blood, looking more for a realistic unpleasant violence instead a beatiful coreography.
Looking Back(V), Midnighter &Apollo(II). I always looking to going beyond the script in order to make the storytelling more interesting, but best results are when writer encourages you with challenging ideas and @thesteveorlando challenged me constantly in M&A⬇︎
Also I have to say that Turpin has a impenitent sinner head...
