@abigbat For me, this one! I took some time thinking about what I wanted to say about the character, and I tried to capture a specific moment and feeling instead of just painting her physical form. I feel like I've opened a new path for making more interesting art.

Next is the color palette! The Zandalari on the left uses desaturated colors in the background to pull the focus towards the reds and golds on her figure. On this older Sailor Moon piece, the same saturated, candy colors are used throughout and it doesn't feel nearly as focused.
