The armor for this was used as late as beta tests for DOOM 2016. so we actually have most of it through leftover data.
IO Interactive announced an open world fantasy RPG and ... we're sorry but the art they shared for it just screams generic to the point that it makes Kingdoms of Amalur look inspired.
In addition to Major Kira Morgan, the first Doom Gal in the DOOM games, there's also Crash, from Quake III Arena, who fans often like to consider DOOM canon as the Doom Slayer's military instructor, and Arlene Sanders from the DOOM novels.
It's DOOM's 30th anniversary this year and while most official DOOM games are available on everything, the DOOM titles as well as the on-rails shooter DOOM Resurrection, are missing still.
Would be nice if that could be rectified.
Anyway, after around 4-5 years of development and less than a positive response from their new Zenimax overlords, Id pulled the plug on DOOM 4.
This led to the DOOM 2016, originally still titled DOOM 4, and the rest is history.
