Like, what happened to Lara Croft was much more “make her look more generic” and people loved that. AITD5’s redesign wouldn’t have been considered a departure if not for the game being rushed out in a poor state by Atari.

For a second I thought Billy Ray Cyrus and Kaoru played the same guitar.

But no, Kaoru's guitar is a Gretsch White Falcon II while Billy Ray uses a white Bennett Royale, probably custom since he's left handed.

The FF T-Rex made its 3D debut in 1999's FFVIII, now called T-Rexaur.

It can eat party members. This is arguably the most famous appearance of the T-Rex in FF.

That original design was much cuter though.

I think it's amazing that the one thing from the early prototype pitch for Rayman 2 that also made it into the final version of Rayman 2 was the robot dinosaur.
