Five out of the 14 main recurring members of the cast, including both protagonists, are disabled!
-William deals with serious depression and mental health problems pre-skip and post skip he is half blind
-Moran only has one hand the other is a prosthetic
And I don't want that one mistake to overshadow the beautiful amount of disability rep this series gives us, but also just because I love something doesn't mean I can't see or acknowledge its flaws
Starting with the good stuff first though
I feel like we don't talk enough about Sherlock's character Arc. It's understandably easy to get so caught up in Liam's ark and Sherlock's role in saving him that we forget that Sherlock isn't a good guy savior but a seriously flawed person, but that's why I love him
!!!! I just stumbled on this old Sherlock Holmes adaptation which was the source for Bond's clothing design as the King of Bohemia
A Drowned Man's Smile
Bondliam Mermaid AU
Complete
Ok but don't talk about the fact that Herder is blind anywhere NEAR enough. Like yes, YuuMori has GREAT LGBT rep and YES we should totally talk about that, but guys THE DISABILITY REP, from Herder, a visually impaired inventor who's total badass and the complete lack of ablism+
So the real question is: We're getting Bond, Jack, and Patterson tomorrow but will we also get HIM
