The Invasion of Icewind Dale
As always, my love for the Icewind Dale RPG was one of my main inspirations for fantasy illustration. It's pretty astonishing how much a low res isometric game can make your imagination go wild.
Here, Guthma looks down on Targos, ready to invade it.

The Crown of Fantasy
This image was another portfolio piece for Magic The Gathering. I was thinking of doing an Artifact card or something. Not much to it. Guy holding his head and weird crown and woosh powers.
Color dodge galore.

Dragon I did back 2018 when I was prepping more portfolio pieces for Magic.
I do always recommend to try to fit your style with what they have. Magic is very tricky to get into because people tend to think that realism just does it, but it's only a small part of the requirement.
