She didn’t even know she was dancing with the prince, just look up the scene where she runs away. She literally states that fact and the prince seems very confused.

Cinderella was an abuse victim who had no one to turn to for help. Nobody would believe her because she was a woman, and she couldn’t run away because she’d end up on the streets. But she had faith. She got one chance to have fun, and she took it.
