Very happy to see Maribel Mas' work on the front cover of Sinéad Morrissey's forthcoming Selected Poems from @Carcanet. I'd asked Maribel to respond to Sinéad's poem 'The Italian Chapel' in my publication.

'Mancunia' was Michael Symmons Roberts last collection. On Thursday this week I'll be @HOME_mcr to see a film https://t.co/0pQLQlwMab based on Michael words. Michael's poem 'Takk' will be my next publication with illustrations provided by Jake Attree.

Four of Maribel Mas' drawings for a forthcoming publication. Maribel does each drawing in an exacting process that takes 2 or 3 days to complete. The drawing is then transferred to a magnesium plate for printing with the letterpress printed text of the edition.

Just to get away from the books for a while. An afternoon in the park in which I spent a lot of my teenage years. An autumn day revisiting the springtime of youth.

A visit to @Nat_Mem_Arb to see @colin_davidson’s Silent Testimony exhibition and hear his talk on his build up to these 18 marvellous and meaningful large scale full head portraits. I’ve just chosen to show some of the eyes of surviving victims of ‘The Troubles’.

Back in 2013, just after I first published my first book of his work, I asked Simon if he wanted to have his portrait painted by an artist friend of mine called Paul Wright.
This was the result which still hangs in the hall but I might try to find a more public home for it now.
