FIRST AID FOR HOUSEHOLD POISONING 🧵

If a person is poisoned by bleach, fuel, acid, drugs, fumes, etc, the first aid treatment you give can prevent death!

What to do depends on type of poison & whether it's on the skin, eyes, inhaled or swallowed.

IF UNCONSCIOUS

1. Call your local medical emergency number
2. Start Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, CPR, with chest compression & rescue breathes
3. If a child is unconscious & unresponsive, perform 1 minute of CPR, then call your local emergency number or rush to the hospital.
