Canterra is the goddess of the earth and soil, and was a red fox in her past life. She tends to avoid confrontation and doesn't like to get involved with matters that don't concern her. She is rather blunt, although she doesn't usually mean harm.

Arcoris is the goddess of colour and was a brown hare in her past life. She is easily fascinated by the most mundane of things and exceedingly curious of the world around her. However, she is incredible naive and possesses very little common sense.

Amorella is the goddess of love and friendship, and was a red squirrel in her past life. She adores her job as she loves watching relationships and seeing animals fall in love. However the other gods consider her to be rather odd and her reactions always seem a little strange.

Aquil is the goddess of rivers, lakes, and seas as well as being a mouse in her past life. She is admired by others for her kindness, calm nature, and intellectual attitude. However, she is always very unsure of herself and often doubts her decisions.

Heruli is one of two major antagonists. He is the self proclaimed god of truth and was a Eurasian lynx in his past life. Whilst initially appearing polite and honest, he is very bitter. He carries a strong sense of justice and seeks to punish those who would harm innocent lives.

Solanté is one of two protagonists. She is the goddess of the sun and was a grizzly bear cub in her past life. Unlike her twin brother, Siluna, she is very optimistic and always wants to do the right thing. She cares deeply for her brother even though they do argue quite a lot.

Siluna is one of two protagonists. He is the god of the moon and was a bear cub in his past life. He's incredibly pessimistic and is immensely afraid of death. He only cares about his sister, Solanté, and Aquil who he thinks of as a sort of adopted mother.
