Tip number two! Video tutorials on youtube, and trying new things out! Experimenting with new art styles and coloring techniques can be super scary since you want to stick to what you like, but I promise that you learn so much more this way. What works, what doesn't work, etc.
As I progress through this thread, I will post my art in progression of skill level throughout the months. My first tip?
Look at references! Keep pinterest handy, and try to focus on where your art is lacking. Mine was specifically in posing, dynamics in expression, and colors.
