I need to buy a Beatrix Potter collection for my personal library. I've been meaning to add some of her illustrated collections, too, like her scientific illustrations. I just love her work, y'all, she inspired me to keep working on watercolors. 💙

I don't think enough folks talk about how Beatrix Potter was an intro to cottagecore for so many of us. Even as a little kid, I wanted to live in these cozy worlds with the animal friends.

It is the 85th anniversary of one of my favorite childhood books, J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. I am here to remind you that the 1977 adaptation is a lovely little gem with a soundtrack that slaps REALLY HARD.

NGL that felt a little rushed. I was honestly expecting a 2-parter for THAT showdown considering how much it was built up. But then again, having it be so short is a good way to turn everything on its head. I'll miss you, Spear.

In the very least, the costume designs are pretty neat!
