Sadly, the organizer has recently announced that, due to family circumstances, the 14th Stage to be held this Nov will be the final BanG Dreamer's Party.
I'm sure they'll look back fondly on how they began from just 5 circles but then proceeded to ride the wave of Bandori 🌊🌊🌊

Not to take anything away from early Bandori but it was only after the game's release that the franchise really started to grow.
At BanG Dreamer's Party 5th Stage in Oct 2018, there were a massive 248 circles setting up their doujins! 🥰

Despite the embarrassing setback, the organizer kept faith in Bandori, even announcing a 2nd Stage in Nov that year.
Within just half a year, but this time with the influx of new Bandori fans through the anime and Garupa, the event managed to secure a whopping 81 circles!!! ✨

Remember the 12 circles who signed up? The 12th was BanG Dreamer's Party, a doujin event organizer who went to promote their own "Bandori-only" event in May 2017.
Guess what? They could only get 5 circles and had to share the space with another franchise😢

This Bandori doujin event was called "Minna de BanG Dreamer!".
400 spaces were prepared but because the response was so poor, they had to push back the registration deadline multiple times.
Eventually, they managed to recruit a measly 12 circles.

Some context:
Even though Bandori had been around for almost 2 years, Season 1 of the anime had just started airing.
Moreover, the game had just been launched in Mar 2017. With it came 4 new bands and 20 new characters to root for (and write doujins about).

@Cactusman881 The BanG_Dream! project started in 2015 with this manga. The original character designs and storyline were slightly different from Bandori now. I like to call this early period Betadori! You can find the first 2 chapters translated online. There's also a Betadori light novel.
