I love the way Harris dilutes dark thrillers with absurd and cute scenes. Witty and charming entomologists chess players forever in my heart ^w^

I love her so much! Absolutely adorable, smart and empatic character - perhaps if she and Francis had met earlier, Red Dragon would never have existed...

If we talk about supporting characters, here's my favorite character in Hannibal - best mix of charisma, strengths and weaknesses
In one adaptation she wasn't, in another her appearance and character were changed beyond recognition. Not sure which choice was worse.

So, imperceptibly (but very quickly) the second redrawed set was assembled - "central-antagonists-of-tetralogy"!
And NOW is time for other characters from this series... There are still a lot of them))

Well, here's the most vile and disgusting guy among Harris's antagonists. And it's not about appearance at all - it evokes compassion until it becomes known what he is.
Subsequently, T.H. surpassed himself in creating another monster, but already outside tetralogy.

I was incredibly impressed with this asshole years ago. Largely because it was he who was the only one who could truly wound Hannibal and, by and large, predetermine his attitude towards life.

More relevant than question "What wrong with Lecter's ears in this animalisation?" is "what's wrong with Mr. D's ears?"
Well... The first is probably a congenital feature of ear cartilage. The second... I like to think that Francis's father was a caracal. ^w^

Happy 30th anniversary to The Silence of the Lambs!
Of all available adaptations, this one was perhaps the most balanced - beautiful, deep, scary... Distinctive, but respecting original source.
And it looks like it's time to start a line of antagonists in this thread))

Prequel stands apart, but I love it with all my heart: for atmosphere, characters and lots of details (for example, about creation of Lecter's memory halls). Of all hastily written books possible, this is the best!
... But movie it was written for is crap. >:(
