A "cartoon" planning out a pinup piece I may or may not work up further. I did this as a 90 minute speed sketch - I'm not really a fast illustrator. A layout like this helps me gauge 1) is this piece worth continuing, and 2) what's going to be needed in the process? ✏️📒

Didn’t want to post this work in progress, but with the character flats finished a coupe weeks ago, it’s a major draft.

Now that these flats are done, I zoom out and look at the overall scenery.

I thought everyone could use a break and focus on Marion’s problem this Friday.

I’ve developed such a massive crush on this fellow. Pencils down.

All fixed up with lots of oxyclean, e-6000, fabritac, and some patches. I got these shoes in 2005 and run with them every three to four days (about 60% consistence through a year). #newbalance
