Made it to the National Gallery of Ireland to see these beautiful paintings & stained glass panels by Irish modernists Mainie Jellett & Evie Hone. Thanks to @JackGQuin for bringing them to my attention!

Today I will be dragging myself away from the thesis to write a catalogue essay about the work of Heikedine Gunther - her paintings & unique prints are inspired by medieval & Ottonian manuscripts!

Visited the beautiful but bizarre village of Portmeirion in North Wales yday - a recomposition of Italy in British architectural salvage.
