I love colorful butterflies, but recently I started to appreciate those that I used to dismiss as "just a brown butterfly" like this Pansy/Junonia. The more I meet them, the more I notice their strange wing shapes, the dots, and the stripes.

I'm testing some brushes for a future project.

Essentially, I recolored those x-ray images as if we were looking at the fishes in their natural habitat. Then @scifindr provided the code that let me upload two images on top of each other so the viewers can compare both images. #sciart
