He also has a few sprites in Mania, though you can just use a fan made sprite sheet and give credit

He's also appeared in the Archie comics a few times-

I respect your opinion, but:

I feel like Sonic should have a similar appeal to someone like Pikachu, being both cute and cool at the same time
