Even without theaters, we've got a whole lot of horror headed our way this Halloween season. Including Netflix and Mike Flanagan's The Haunting of Bly Manor. No exact date yet, but premiering this Fall! https://t.co/RIussY1TkD
There's obviously a lot more going on in #LovecraftCountry than over-the-top genre pulpiness, but I can't stop thinking about Atticus' dream sequence. What a wildly unexpected way to kick off the series, invite us into Atticus' mind & set the stage for some of the story's themes.

Pretty much had zero interest in seeing that recent Scooby-Doo movie that was made for theaters but now Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! comes along with promises of animated Elvira, monster pumpkins, DC's Scarecrow & Fury Road: Halloween Edition and I'm pulled right back in.
Some fun news: Disney is launching what they're describing as a Goosebumps-style series of middle grade horror books titled Disney Chills next month. The stories bring Disney Villains into the real world. Details: https://t.co/foSWzsRG4N
