Who was Agnes Lister? The daughter of James Syme 🏴 surgeon & Lister’s mentor. Agnes was accomplished. Botanist, Lister’s assistant & equal. She’d write notes, illustrate & take part in experiments - inc dosing of chloroform. Given this why was Lister averse to teaching women🤔
