Self portrait process; sketch to finished piece

I do really enjoy improvement process, and I admit I am kinda laughin' with this one. First ever bust ofmy dear character Ewan, done a wee before... August? I think so. Second finished between August/September, and last for his reference sheet finished just yesterday

Gettin' wee offline again. But I had to think a lot about my own stuff.
I already finished one drawing of my dear Edwin McTeine. He had many changes by experiences of his own.
I am happy, this is the first ever drawing I am able to finish and feel realized, I got +2 months out.

I have some characters from a family I already created long years ago; the McTeine family, which most of its members are redhaired, full of freckles and with some details more.
I had to draw my best friend Louis as one of them because he is actually redhaired and pretty! hahaha
