@KamexVGM I make around low 3 figures or so a month on YT, but through putting my music on Spotify/apple music etc I'm making thousands. Granted, I've been consistent with uploads the past two years, but I feel more rewarded on my work there than on YT since it's demoralizing/sad there
@ArttyChan I separate the content from the person. Even IRL you barely know someone from a few surface-level interactions, so that goes a long way internet-wise when everything is effectively a brand image type of deal. Doesn't mean you can't glean some insight, but it's never a full story.
@kale_abe How high you think $polc gonna go fren? I've got some bags in that
@SpectorKnight99 @ArttyChan Nope! Most of the art I use for things that are posted on my spotify/apple music etc are stuff I either have permission for or got commissioned by somebody.
I don't feel like dealing with that headache, so I just commission all of my newer stuff.
@ThinkingLSD Good luck with the disconnect ser as I certainly believe Twitter can be exhausting with all the news and information overload that can make you feel shitty, stressed or tired
@OsakaGameing @Oztekin219 @awkward_birb @moiwool That's saddening. I originally got into 2hu when I saw that Un Own Mc'Roll video back in 2008. Fell the touhou rabbit hole and been a fan of it since I was a teenager. I have no idea why people even like fumos if they aren't aware of what touhou is.
Maybe I'm just getting old
I’m getting older and the world is becoming unrecognizable. I want to go back
Just make sure the piano VST you are using doesn't have any reverb or delay or you'll end up with the same problem.
When making music, what helps me is to just write out most of the things on the piano or default settings on my VSTs. Then from there I start working on the sound design. Saves time. You can get confused by your own stuff if you start using the sound design stuff in the beginning
