Aera is a young Aarakocra groomed to be part of the Crimson Peregrines, an elite group guarding the elders of the tribe. Upon discovering the corruption inside the group, Aera's master banished her for her safety. Now she travels without a memory of what happened to her.

Crag was born to a tribe that worships The Volcano. They are a bit nihilistic, believing that Fire shall cleanse all things. He is on a pilgrimage visiting different mountains to learn more about the outside world, earn his place within his tribe and wear their signature mask.
