A bit of trivia about #FinalFantasy 2(JP):
The lead coder, an Iranian-American, was forced to return to the US halfway through production due to an expired JP work visa. The dev team followed & finished the game from the the US. The same thing happened during FF3 too!

You're able to strategically pick the type of players on your team, but I always end up picking four big fat guys for their extra powerful shooting skills

I've been playing 2004's Super Mario Ball (Mario Pinball Land) for the GBA lately. Here some rarely-seen art that I just found on Nintendo's Japanese website.
A tale of two #MegaMan manuals.
Who wore it better?
Left: A page from the 1988 Japanese Famicom "Rockman 2" manual
Right: Two pages from the 1989 "Mega Man 2" NES manual

The 1986 Famicom Disk System manual for #Castlevania is BEAUTIFUL and has really fun drawings of Simon Belmont all throughout. I combined some in one image for easy viewing.
The NES manual is a disgrace. Doesn't mention Simon's name or story, and has no pics of him.

The 1993 Famicom manual for "Kirby's Adventure" has some really awesome hand-colored sketches. The NES manual on the other hand has much more sanitized versions of same art (see for yourself in next tweet in this thread!)
Which style do you prefer?

#PrincessPeach trading card from a 2002 Hi-C Fruit Drink campaign (USA). There's a few game tips on the back.
"Popping Pink Lemonade pops Peach into the air and lets her float over danger!"
Maybe almost lost to history, info online is rare: https://t.co/SIdYWSNJvg
