i feel like as adults people start presenting these series in very cynical shades and press adult values onto them. and while i feel like kids entertainment also catering to adults is a good thing, i feel like people also forget about the audience that work is most important for.

transformations in shonen anime, at least back in the old days were something that felt really important to a lot us as kids.

a lot of people frown upon shonen powerups and transformations now, but i feel like they sent a strong message to kids just growing up.
