Two sisters, Satsuki and Mei, explore their new country house and end up befriending the spirits that live nearby. One of the chillest films I’ve ever seen. The soundtrack and animation are amazing. A charming, cute film.

Castle in the Sky

Two kids, Sheeta and Pazu, go on an adventure to find a mysterious floating castle while avoiding air pirates and a secret govt agency. Very entertaining and chill. The airship designs were pretty cool.

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind

Story follows Nausicaä, princess of Valley of the Wind, as she tries to find a way for humans and Ohms (huge insect creatures) to coexist in the middle of a post-apocalyptic war. The worldbuilding and soundtrack are 👏Truly a masterpiece!

@thisiseissen Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Kinda pre-Ghibli, but considered to be the first Ghibli film. Miyazaki did an amazing job with the story (similar themes as with Princess Mononoke), mc feels so relatable, and the soundtrack is good.
