Some more Cantonese baked goods that I enjoy:

Sesame Balls, Swiss rolls and wife cakes! Sesame balls and swiss rolls are pretty popular but maybe wife cakes aren't as much! There's usually candied wintermelon and coconut shreds inside. Give it a try next time u see them!

Between being burnt out, taking time to recover, then getting back to work, I don't really have the energy to do personal paintings. I would really love to do more food studies tbh.

Oranges have many meanings, but the ones that resonate w/ me are Joy, Happiness & Prosperity. Thru my lens, I hope to showcase a form of Black joy that is beautiful to me, & how even in a world that doesn't support us, we still bloom & grow, like precious fruit
